Zen and the Art of Meatless Maintenance

March 18th, 2008

March 20 is the annual Great American Meatout, a golden opportunity to try one of New York’s many meatless venues, for example: Zen Burger. For those craving shrimp or burgers or chicken, beef, and hot dogs, Zen Burger is fast food with a twist: all the taste without the cruelty or cholesterol. Toss in a soy milkshake and a side of fries for the full NYC diner experience…just blocks from Grand Central Station.

Anyone seeking other Big Apple venues for their own personal Meatout Moment can connect with the good folks at Viva Vegie for some goodly gastronomical guidance.

P.S. It’s never too early to start planning for New York’s first ever Veggie Pride Day on May 18. Soy to the world…

Thank you for the link, Mickey… I’m going to have to update that restaurant guide, however… A bit overdue… Peas, Pamela R.
