OpenHouseNewYork Weekend: Oct. 4-5
October 3rd, 2008
The Sixth Annual OpenHouseNewYork Weekend gives everyone the chance to discover new neighborhoods and experience the Big Apple’s architecture and design – free of charge. The Woolworth Building, the renovated Cherry Lane Theater, the underground tunnels of the city’s first airport at Floyd Bennett Field, and Ellis Island’s shuttered South Side buildings are just a few of the nearly 200 sites and almost 150 tours, talks, and workshops that will be available in all five boroughs.
