Perhaps you realize it’s been a holiday because there is no mail delivery, or because there is even more traffic than usual. This will be the case today, as the Columbus Day Parade strolls up 5th Avenue from 44th Street to 79th Street.
The parade celebrates the Italian ~ American spirit of adventure and conquest and supports Italian Americans with scholarships.
The event is supported by Maserati – who will lead the parade with classic and contemporary sports and luxury cars. Two lucky raffle winners can exit in grand style.
From noon to 3:00pm.
