Following their October 13th concert for Barack Obama at Penn State University, The Dead will tour for the first time in four years.
Original Dead members Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart will be joined by keyboardist Jeff Chimenti (Ratdog) and Warren Haynes (Gov’t Mule / Allman Brothers Band) — veterans of the 2004 Dead “Wave That Flag” Tour. The Dead will take the stage at Madison Square Garden on April 25.

Works on Paper will take place at the Park Avenue Armory at 67th Street February 27 – March 2, 2009 (Friday noon – 8; Saturday & Sunday noon – 7; and Monday 11am – 5pm).

The Bollingen Foundation funded many projects of Isamu Noguchi, awarding him several fellowships to travel to India, Indonesia, Japan, Nepal and Sri Lanka. This exhibition includes a selection of his travel photographs from these expeditions during the years 1949 - 1956.
