Saturday, May 2, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, enjoy The Tribeca Family Festival, a street fair and family celebration with colorful activities and performances, as it unfolds on Greenwich Street between Hubert and Chambers Street.
Greenwich Street will host a promenade of tents, where local restaurants and merchants will offer Tribeca’s finest foods, refreshments, and merchandise. Local schools will sponsor fundraising activities, from hairspray painting to graffiti hats.
Fly a kite, create life-size bubbles in the Bubble Garden, get creative in the Arts & Crafts tent, dance to live music and put a smile on your face…
Of special note is a book reading by author James Yang – of his bestselling tale – ” Joey and Jet.”
The reading will take place from 11:30 to noon at 375 Greenwich Street in the Screening Room on the 2nd floor. 375 Greenwich is the headquarters of the Tribeca Film Festival and it’s on the east side of Greenwich, just north of Franklin Street and the corner where the Tribeca Grill is located.
