Discover your own Spice Source on Columbus Day
October 12th, 2009
In celebration of Columbus Day, we thought we’d point out a convenient local source for spices — Kalustyan’s at 123 Lexington Avenue at 27th Street.
Kalustyan’s offers a bountiful selection of teas, spices, culinary and medicinal herbs, including an aphrodisiac tea – which in itself blends 32 herbs and spices.
Today you can also enjoy the Columbus Day Parade on 5th Avenue, from 44th to 79th Streets , from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
And the Veneto Jazz Festival continues at Grand Central, from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm with Daryl Sherman on piano.
