The Macy’s Day Parade has a new route down 7th Avenue. A great vantage point is eye-level with the balloons, and well achieved from the 3rd floor of The Time Warner Center at 59th Street and Columbus Circle, where you may also enjoy a perfect cup of coffee and confection from Bouley Bakery.

Samuel Langhorne Clemens—better known by his pen name, Mark Twain—was the quintessential American author, humorist, lecturer, essayist, and master of satire. Twain enjoyed immense public popularity during his lifetime and became a friend to presidents, artists, industrialists, and royalty.
The exhibition features extensive portions of autograph manuscripts of two key non-fiction works. In Life on the Mississippi (1883), Twain examines the history of the river and the impact of technological progress and urban development on river life and paints sharply contrasting portraits of urban life in the North and South. Twain casts his critical attention more widely in the extensive account of his world travels published in Following the Equator (1897), employing savage sarcasm to express his outrage at the crimes that the Western colonial powers perpetrated on the native populations of Africa, Asia, and Australasia.
The Morgan Library and Museum is located at 225 Madison Avenue at 36th Street, New York, NY 10016, (212) 685-0008

The exhibition, on view in the Sackler Center for Arts Education, presents a group of splendid interwar posters from France, Italy, and Germany.

Salt is as old as the planet and an incredible source of good health. Think what a day at the beach can do for you just breathing in the salt air. Isabella Samovsky, founder of Solay, will explain how to incorporate salt for better breathing, healing and in our diet and how Himalayan sea salt is a must for better health.
The planet is not as safe place anymore, and we need to use the natural resources we do have to learn how to obtain the best conditions for the air we breathe and the environment we can create around us.
